I use wetransfer to send shows. I am always looking for Bryan Adams, Barclay James Harvest, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Kayak and Jackson Browne.

I have over a terrabyte of the Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead and all of the shows I have are not all listed.  If you have a date or show your looking for ask and I will see if I or one of my friends

has it. I also have a lot of Pink Floyd and cover bands. If I don't get back to you right away the possibility is you wound up in the junk folder.  I will always try to help you out.

I had to track out the raw WAV file for the Bruce Springsteen set in Audacity and also edit a tape flip at the end of the set and splice in the two encores, which had been tracked on to the end of the CSNY raw WAV file and did not appear to belong there. Two songs were missing in the Bruce Springsteen set and I couldn't locate them on any of the untracked raw WAV files that were supplied to me. Fortunately I was able to obtain them from the same source a day later. They had inadvertently been left off the first batch sent to me, so those two tracks were level matched, and spliced into the Springsteen set with splices repaired. Each set is listed individually in separate folders, but the show will play sequentially in order from start to finish. All sound files have been down sampled to 16 bit / 44.1kHz in Audacity, and converted to FLAC with tags added via xACT 2.51. Thanks to all involved for the capture of this first ever Bridge benefit show, and thanks as well to 'Rocksuitcase' from Taperssection.com for making his uncompleted files available for me to add the finishing touches and complete this amazing show. The sound on the Bruce Springsteen set is a bit 'hollow', possibly as a result of weak internal batteries in the Nakamichi microphone bodies, but this is just a guess. Front-cover artwork added to FLAC tags. ****************************************************************************************************** 3 flac

The show featured Crosby's son, James Raymond on keyboards, and jazz session guitarist Dean Parks. You will note two different sets, and two different sound qualities. We moved from dead center (A-) to the pit (B+) at intermission, and while visually appealling, the sound was not as good, and crowd noise was more oppressive with many whistling knuckleheads. The Soundboard was a perk for $40 at the end of the concert. It is mp3 formatted. I made a matrix of the two, adjust the clock speed and aligning the two tapes. This version was a 100-100 mix for the 1st set, e.g., each tape at 100% volume, mixed together, and for the 2nd set I adjusted it to 100-60, with the Soundboard being 100%. Crowd noise was compressed and some dead space deleted. This was banned on The Dime because they sold the mp3 (not ROIO) and was mp3 sourced. I received permission to upload it here at Planet Rock. --Regards, Scooter123 September, 2011. 2 Flac

Ruth is 10 years old, verbally impaired and cannot walk on her own. The benefit is to buy a van that can accomadate her wheelchair. In the opening rap, Ruth and her father come onstage and the keys to the new van are presented to them. It was a very touching moment for everyone in attendance. Highlights include a short solo appearance by Jackson Browne. Crosby & Nash join him for a few songs and a HUGE highlight for Mauians was having local fave John Cruz join in for "Island Style".. 2 flac

47. 06/20/92 Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts - Mansfield, MA A+ FLAC Tags Via xACT 2.51 By OldNeumanntapr ********************************************************************** Well everyone enjoyed the last CSN show I posted so here is another! This is once again a show from the 1992 Acoustic Tour. It is an exact clone from the master DAT off the soundboard. Just like the last one, the quality is unsurpassed. I would rate it an A+++. This was billed as an acoustic tour however, Stills pulls out his electric guitar about half way through. It is an excellent performance. For those of you who have heard these '92 shows before, their voices were right on. Crosby sounded excellent despite his past troubles. I don't believe this performance has ever been heard (unless you were there). This is in pristine digital sound. DAT Master>SONY DAT DTC-790>Digital Transfer>WavePad>flac>You There was not much to do with this DAT. I just separated the tracks and did fade out and fade in between the discs. There are a couple glitches. Wasted On The Way begins immediately and the sound tech adjusts Stills' guitar at about a minute into the song. This was on the DAT. Also, it appears something happens at the end during Our House, so it is a partial and then fades out. With that aside, I highly recommend! 2 flac

68. 04/30/03 Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater, FL a- ALD-Soundboard recording (a John Tsalikes recording, from the Jim Fiesler collection) In memory of John Tsalikes, who passed away much too soon 5 years ago (Oct. 10, 2003) from a heart attack. According to Jim Fiesler, John was the mastermind behind these ALD recordings and served as Jim's mentor. But more than that, John was a great friend and a very, very generous guy...a taper for decades...no family or girlfriend, just the music. Thank you, John...you're probably taping that big jam session up there right now. Rest In Peace, friend. ** mp3 samples provided (as always) in the Comments section ** Here's another fine show from Jim Fiesler, brought to you by TheCommish! Lineage: ALD/SBD > D8 (listen box--from the parking lot) DAT > CDR Note: Per the etree database, I noticed that an AUD version of this show has been circulated. As such, this will hopefully be an upgrade for many of you. Additional notes: * Show was recorded out-of-phase; show was phase-corrected (to be "in-phase") via Cool Edit Pro * Deleted 28 seconds of applause before the start of the 1st track and faded in the opening applause (both using Nero's wave editor) * Re-tracked show by combining in Nero, splitting with CD Wave * The show was recorded well below peak volume, and both sets were apparently broadcast/recorded at different volumes. As such, set #1 (Tracks 101-111) was increased by 9 dB whereas set #2 (Tracks 112-213) were raised only 5 dB. Volume adjustments were done in Nero's wave editor. ALD (assisted listening device) soundboard recordings are usually knocked for their "thin" sound quality (high amount of treble, not enough bass), but I don't think that's a real issue here at all. As such, Jim's files have been unaltered for sound quality (i.e., no EQ performed)--if some of you prefer to have more bass in your ALD recordings, I'll let you do your own EQ work since it then becomes a matter of personal taste. As for me, I think the show sounds great, as-is. Jim Fiesler notes: (regarding his ALD-SBD shows): "ALDs (fm-sbd) perfect captures in most or all cases..however somewhat lacking bass..more than regular fm..The best place to rec these shows was from the park lot..! the signal was the best there..!" If you decide to download this show, won't you please consider posting a comment on the show's board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run. And won't you please consider thanking Jim for this mighty fine show? 2 flac

22. 02/06/87 Arlington Theater ~ Late Show - Santa Barbara, CA A This show was the forerunner to the recording of the American Dream album. Neil promised David to work with him again if he left the drugs alone, he kept his word. There were two shows that evening, the first one being a little shorter, and my copy of the second show sounded better. This one comes from a 4th generation analoge cassette. The tape 45'90'ends were glued together to get a flowing set. Here and there some gaps and holes were fixed. There is one gap in Changing Partners which I couldn't fix properly, so I left it in. The first few seconds of Southern Man are missing Beside some hiss reduction no adjustments were made to my original tape. lineage: 4th generation analoge tape played through a Pioneer S430S >> EDirol SD card >> PC Editing with Adobe Audition An all acoustic performance by the great foursome with some nice surprises in the setlist. First of all an unreleased Crosby tune called 'He's An American', Nash his great song 'Try To find Me' and a seldom heard acoustic performance of 'Mideast vacation' by Young. But what really stands out is the great singing and performing, they're in fine form here[check out This Old Huose] A joy to listen to. 2 flac

Introduction to the Lost and Found Mike the MICrophone Series Welcome to JEMS’ Lost and Found Mike the MICrophone series presenting recordings made by legendary taper Mike Millard, AKA Mike the MICrophone, best known for his masters of Led Zeppelin done in and around Los Angeles circa 1975-77. For the complete details on how tapes in this series came to be lost and found again, as well as JEMS' long history with Mike Millard, please refer to the notes in Vol. One: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=500680. Until 2020, the Lost and Found series presented fresh transfers of previously unavailable first-generation copies made by Mike himself for friends like Stan Gutoski of JEMS, Jim R, Bill C. and Barry G. These sources were upgrades to circulating copies and in most instances marked the only time verified first generation Millard sources had been directly digitized in the torrent era. That all changed with the discovery of many of Mike Millard’s original master tapes. Yes, you read that correctly, Mike Millard’s master cassettes, long rumored to be destroyed or lost, have been found. Not all of them but many, and with them a much more complete picture has emerged of what Millard recorded between his first show in late 1973 and his last in early 1992. The reason the rediscovery of his master tapes is such a revelation is that we’ve been told for decades they were gone. Internet myths suggest Millard destroyed his master tapes before taking his own life, an imprudent detail likely concocted based on the assumption that because his master tapes never surfaced and Mike’s mental state was troubled he would do something rash WITH HIS LIFE’S WORK. There’s also a version of the story where Mike’s family dumps the tapes after he dies. Why would they do that? The truth is Mike’s masters remained in his bedroom for many years after his death in 1994. We know at least a few of Millard’s friends and acquaintances contacted his mother Lia inquiring about the tapes at the time to no avail. But in the early 2000s, longtime Millard friend Rob S was the one she knew and trusted enough to preserve Mike’s work. The full back story on how Mike’s master tapes were saved can be found in the notes for Vol. 18 Pink Floyd, which was the first release in our series transferred from Millard’s original master tapes: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=667745&hit=1 http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=667750&hit=1 Neil Young, Universal Amphiheatre, Los Angeles, CA, January 23, 1983 Weird tour, weird tape. The Mike Millard archive opens up to early 1983 and Neil Young playing LA in support of his controversial Trans album. Indeed it is a strange set, largely performed solo, mostly acoustic, but then venturing on occasion into the electronic-based music featured on the album. To be fair, the performances of Neil classics this night are quite good, but when things shift for the undeniably weak "Transformer Man" and the needless reinvention of "Mr. Soul," results are mixed at best (my bias is obvious). There are few crowds as noisy and boisterous as a Neil Young crowd and you'll hear more audience noise and chatter on this than a typical Millard tape. Highly typical was Mike and Jim missing the first song, "Old Laughing Lady," as Mike's fades up this copy just before "Motor City." Our source this week is a first generation cassette Mike made for Ed F. As noted above, it is a weird tape in that it is the only one in our series to date where there are several edits between songs, presumably to fit the entire show onto a single 90-minute cassette. Perhaps that lack of preciousness about preserving the "full" recording was a statement about the performance. Hard to say. In addition to the edits, it is a bit hissier than most of the first-generation copies of Millard masters we have transferred. There is also distortion during the louder electronic numbers caused by pre-amp overload. I can only imagine how challenging it would be set the proper levels for a show that ranges from quiet acoustic guitar to giant bass synthesizer notes. Which isn't to say it is a bad recording. The majority of the acoustic songs sound great, caveats noted and samples provided. Here's what Jim R recalled about seeing Neil on the Trans tour 1983: Mike and I went to the Neil Young concert on Jan 23, 1983 at the Universal Amphitheatre. We sat 12th row center behind the pit. Great seats sound wise. It was a last minute decision to go to this concert. In examining my ticket stub, I see the print date was two days before the show; that means our tickets were held by the promoter for industry types. Unused tickets are then sold a day or two before the show. The opportunity to see Neil Young at a relatively small venue was too tempting to pass up. My memory of the show is pretty fuzzy, keep in mind it was some 38 years ago. That’s all I got this week. Cheers. ### JEMS is proud to join with Rob, Jim R, Barry G, Ed F and others to release Millard's historic recordings and to help set the record straight about the man himself. We can’t thank Rob enough for reconnecting with Jim and putting his trust in our Millard reissue campaign. He kept Mike’s precious tapes under wraps for two decades, but once Rob learned of our methods and stewardship, he agreed to contribute the Millard DATs and cassettes to the program. Our releases would not be nearly as compelling without Jim’s memories, photos and other background contributions. As many of you have noted, the stories offer an entertaining complement to Mike’s incredible audio documents. As usual, Professor Goody provided pitch guidance and mjk5510 handled post-production and cover art. Thanks to them both for their continued excellent service. Finally, cheers to the late, great Mike the MICrophone. His work never ceases to impress. May he rest in peace. BK for JEMS 2 flac

95. 11/06/07 Wells Fargo Theatre - Denver, CO a- Recorded from 2nd Row right side of stage with Edirol R-09 by Duckman2 1chucho notes: 8th night of the Chrome Dreams II tour, November 6, 2007. The core acoustic setlist on this tour is an excellent example of pacing and counterpoint. True to Neil Young fashion it all flows together as one song. This night's performance is particularly satisfying. Hank into Ambulance, Sad Movies and Maid all blend together beautifully though each song is distinct in its own right. And he throws in the story of the gatecrasher Boulder show from the 1971 tour. The electric set is a bit less satisfying-a little overly bassy in the mix. The Loner is kind of a trainwreck and DOM is still in the setlist. Oh well. Overall though, a solid recording and performance. Taped and shared by Duckman2 (thanks!). I ripped my CD-Rs using dBpoweramp and created new checksums with TLH. No artwork, sorry. Original infofile(s) included. Finally, get Americana and see Neil and Crazy Horse on tour this fall wherever you can! 2 flac

7. 09/11/82 Stadio dei Pini - Viareggio, Italy A Original files were verified upon decoding, run through Gold Wave for pitch alteration, then re-encoded to flac. There were also some strange rhythmic clicks at the beginning of "Birds" which I fixed as much as I could. Therefore the lineage of this torrent may be stated as: Vinyl > Maxell XLII cassette > Wav > Flac > TLH > Wav > GoldWave to repair pitch (-1 + 38 cents) > TLH > Flac Unknown original source, but sounds like a ROIO captured from the PA stack. Sound Quality is full & upfront like a soundboard, with occasional audience sounds nearby (but not too nearby). Between the clean full sound and the lack of negatives like crowd interference, hiss or (much) tape distortion, this is IMO an astonishly good Transband recording (maybe the best available), and very much worth the effort of fixing so we can all hear it at correct pitch. SBE note: the original torrenter notes taking this recording from a vinyl bootleg that had the songs out of sequence; artifacts from this vinyl sourcing (and sequencing) may occur. Random sampling before upload suggested a clean copy 2 flac
